HDR students who wish to withdraw from candidature are encouraged to discuss their intention with their supervisor/ college HDR coordinator/ Office of Graduate Research HDR Progressions Team to see whether the reasons can be addressed by the University.
HDR students who withdraw and who subsequently wish to re-enrol must apply to the University for re-admission. It is at the University’s discretion whether the student will be re-admitted and whether the previous candidature will count.
Making this change will affect your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and the University is required to inform the Department of Home Affairs of your decision which may have implications for your current visa.
If you are seeking to transfer to another registered CRICOS institution before you have completed 26 weeks of candidature, you must apply for approval per the International Student Transfer Procedures. If you have questions, please contact internationalcompliance@flinders.edu.au.
Any consequential changes to your enrolment in credit-based topics must be made by you via the Student Information System. If your course has a designated exit award, you should investigate that award.
