Alice Springs

Flinders Alice Springs is located at the Centre for Remote Health, and at the Rubuntja Building in the Alice Springs Hospital grounds.

Student facilities
Students are provided with swipe cards to access the buildings 24/7. Student common spaces with kitchen facilities are accessible 24/7.

Library
Students based at Alice Springs (permanently or temporarily whilst on placement) can access the Library’s SendIt Service for free delivery and return of Library books, scans of articles or chapters and advice on which other libraries may be available for students to access.

Technology and learning spaces
Our teaching facilities include well-equipped lecture rooms, meeting rooms and simulated learning environments available 24/7.

Transport

For public transport in Alice Springs please refer to the Alice Springs public bus network.

Darwin

There are a range of facilities available to students at both the Darwin campuses (Charles Darwin University and Royal Darwin Hospital).

Student facilities
Student common rooms and spaces provide bathrooms and kitchen facilities including fridges, microwaves, cutlery and crockery. These facilities are accessible 24/7. (Students are provided with swipe cards to access the buildings 24/7).

Lockers and showers: Keys for lockers and shower facilities are available from reception at the Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH). There is a $20 deposit required for locker key. To request a locker in RDH, please see the student locker key deposit webpage.

Sports and fitness: A YMCA gym with sporting facilities is available for student use on site at both the Charles Darwin University and Royal Darwin Hospital campuses. Visit the YMCA website for further information.

Childcare facilities
There is childcare available on both the Charles Darwin University and Royal Darwin Hospital campus. Please contact the hospitals directly for further information.

Transport
Buslink is the public transport service provider in Darwin.

Free parking, parking permits and pay and display parking are available at Charles Darwin University. Royal Darwin Hospital offers some limited free parking on site.

Bike racks are available at both Darwin campuses.

Katherine

Student facilities
The Flinders NT Clinical Education Training Facility is located within the Gove District Hospital grounds. The facility is an educational hub used by various stakeholders across the region, including:

Tennant Creek

The Flinders NT office in the main street of Tennant Creek houses local administrative staff.
