Flinders University does not have a physical campus in the northern, western or Eyre Peninsula regions, however Flinders University Rural and Remote Health SA works closely with Adelaide University and UniSA to ensure students have access to accommodation and shared resources while on placement, where possible.

Flinders University has a large presence in south-eastern South Australia, including a campus on the grounds of Mount Gambier Hospital. More than 300 students visit the region for work integrated learning placements each year.

The Mount Gambier campus provides video-conference and lecture facilities, consulting rooms, a large simulation learning space, and common facilities including a kitchen and library.
While on placement, you will benefits from the recent expansions within the Mt Gambier Hospital complex, which include new wards and specialist facilities providing up-to-date technology for enhanced learning opportunities.

Located behind the Murray Bridge hospital, this Flinders University Rural and Remote Health SA campus supports the delivery of a range of inter-professional and discipline-specific educational experiences.

More than 200 Flinders students visit the Barossa Valley for rural work integrated learning placements each year.

Flinders' Nuriootpa campus provides Flinders University and University of Adelaide students with video-conference and lecture facilities, a simulation learning space and student common facilities for relaxation and study.

Link SA provides a bus service from Adelaide to Nuriootpa via Gawler, and return.
The train operates Adelaide-Gawler (bus available Gawler-Nuriootpa).

Flinders in the Riverland
The Riverland is home to Flinders University's undergraduate nursing degree (rural) and the first Parallel Rural Community Curriculum program run by Flinders University Rural and Remote Health SA, based at our Renmark campus, with further facilities housed in our Simulation Lab at the Riverland General Hospital.
Student facilities
A student common room provides access to bathroom, lockers and kitchen facilities including a microwave and fridge, open seven days a week from 7am to 10pm (students require access code and alarm details for access after hours. Please see security information for details about how to request access).
Library
To borrow nursing books from the Nursing and Medical Library, please contact the Student Administrative Support Assistant by calling (08) 8586 1009. Students based at Renmark (permanently or temporarily whilst on placement) can also access the Library’s SendIt Service for free delivery and return of Library books and scans of articles or chapters.
Technology and learning spaces
There are three lecture rooms at the Renmark campus.
The Renmark simulation learning space is in a separate building approximately a 150 metre walk to the left of Renmark Paringa District Hospital.
The Berri simulation learning space is located 20kms away, approximately an 18 minute drive from Renmark and is within the Riverland General Hospital grounds. The entrance is via the Specialist Suites (or through the hospital main entrance during COVID-19 precautions).

There are 18 computers available in the computer labs for students to use. No bookings are required. The computer labs are open seven days a week from 7am to 10pm.

Public transport is very limited around Renmark, although some housing is walking distance from where placements are located.
Transport for Adelaide to Riverland including Berri, Barmera, Waikerie, Renmark is by Stateliner Bus Service. Tambray Coaches provides a bus service for Mildura to Renmark.

Wheelchair access is available to buildings and lecture theatres and there are two accessible bathrooms on site.

Public transport is very limited around Victor Harbor, although some housing is walking distance from where placements are located. Bus transport in and out of Victor Harbor to metropolitan areas is serviced by Link SA.
