Timetable

My course Timetable

Your personalised timetable includes all your topics, lectures, workshops, tutorials, practicals and other teaching-related activities.

It is important that you complete registration for all your classes as, if you do not:

  • your personal timetable will be incomplete and missing classes will not be visible in the Student System
  • you will not receive notifications of any changes to your timetable
  • you may not be able to access all learning materials related to the missing classes via Flinders Learning Online (FLO).

It is your responsibility to ensure you have successfully registered in all your classes before teaching commences so you do not miss any information essential to your course.

Enrolment and class registration opens from November for study in the following year, with staggered opening dates depending on the subject area. Check out the enrolment and class registration schedule which includes the earliest dates that you can enrol in topics and register for classes.

For more information about how to register in a class with available places, see Step 2: Register for classes.

Viewing your timetable

Your timetable is based on what classes you have registered in.

You can view a mobile friendly version of your timetable on Compass (unless you are MD student in which case use the MD students link below).

Planning your timetable

Make sure you spend time planning your timetable before going online to register for classes.

Planning and class registration

Who to contact for help

You can contact your college for problems related to timetables and class registration only, such as:

  • when all available classes for a topic are full;
  • reporting a clash of times for core topics;
  • checking attendance requirements and video options;
  • seeking advice if class details have not been published;
  • seeking advice if the timetable information is inconsistent; and
  • requesting special consideration for attendance at a class.

Please ensure you include your name and student ID, topic details and the full details of your problem clearly stated in all requests.

Do not use these contacts for enrolment problems (e.g. cannot enrol in a topic, need a prerequisite waiver, etc).
