Calling from overseas?
If you are studying overseas and would like to speak with a Flinders University staff member over the phone, you will need to be aware of the following:
- Your country’s international dialling prefix
- Australia’s country code
- The time difference.
International dialling prefix and country code
To dial from overseas to our staff based in Australia you will need to add the international dialling prefix of the country you are based in as well as Australia’s country code (61) to the start of the number you are dialling.
So, for example, if you are based in China and would like to call Flinders Connect you would need to dial 00 61 1300 354 633.
(00 is the International dialling prefix for China, 61 is Australia’s calling code and 1300 354 633 is the Flinders Connect number).

Time difference
When dialling Flinders staff in Australia, you will also need to be aware of the time difference between Adelaide, Australia and the country you are based in.
Note: Flinders staff are available during business hours which is 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (Adelaide time). You can check the time difference using the time zone converter.
