Join a club or group
Joining a Flinders University Student Association (FUSA) club is a great way to involve yourself in the University community and meet like-minded individuals who share the same hobby or passion. Not only does it provide a great break from study, joining a club expands your opportunities outside of the classroom and allows you to network with others in the same field of study. Below is a snapshot of the clubs that relate to the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work.

The Cove is open between 7.30am and 6pm every day Monday to Friday. It can also be accessed by swipe card from 6am and from 6pm to 10pm on these days. Swipe card access can be granted on request for outside these hours Monday to Friday, and for weekends. Please contact cbgl.operations@flinders.edu.au and provide your name, student number, and security identification number located in the bottom right-hand corner of your ID card. This number will start with '26' or '27'.

The Vice-President and Executive Dean (VPED) for the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work is Professor Deborah West.
The VPED is key to supporting a positive academic experience for all students. The VPED will sit on committees and groups on matters relating to learning and teaching, academic facilities and academic policy and processes.

Whatever you need, at any point in your time with us, it should only ever be a couple of clicks or phone call away, and an email to Ask Flinders will get you the information you need if you can't find it online. I strongly encourage you to get involved in the vibrant student life of Flinders University and our College, through our enthusiastic and committed Student Associations (Flinders Education Student Association, Flinders Psychology Students Association or our Social Work Students Association) and the broader clubs of the Flinders University Student Association (FUSA).
We want you to enjoy your time with us, to make friendships and networks for life, and to engage in deep learning.
Our staff are passionate about their teaching and excited to be working with you in diverse and creative ways. Engaging in your classes and the activities of your topics are important for your learning and a great way of meeting others with shared interests. Please stay up to date with announcements and emails associated with your topics and course, especially as you need to plan for placements or other key events. Our Course Coordinators welcome your feedback and representation on groups such as Course Advisory Committees, Forums, and panels.
