Psychology placement compliance

Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)

The WIL placement topic in the Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) enables students to experience a placement in industries related to psychology and the provision of psychological services. The diversity of psychology enables the logical extension of such placements to include most working environments.

Master of Professional Psychology/Masters in Psychology (Clinical)/Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Psychology)

Students enrolled in the MPPSC will be placed in one practical setting with a registered psychologist who has been approved by the Psychology Board of Australia to supervise higher degree students. Students enrolled in the MPsych (Clinical) and PhD (Clinical Psychology) programs will be placed in three practical settings with a registered psychologist who has been approved by the Psychology Board of Australia to supervise higher degree students.

Complete the online questionnaire and follow any instructions you receive from SA TB Services. Upload your questionnaire results or confirmation email to InPlace.

IMPORTANT: Some vaccinations can interfere with the blood test that is used to screen for Tuberculosis. For this reason, you should delay any vaccinations until AFTER you have been cleared by SA TB Services, or until you have received your IGRA test results.

Before placement, you will be contacted by the Mask Fit Testing Team at Flinders University to organise a mask fit testing appointment. 

If you have previously had a mask fit test, upload evidence to InPlace, then no further action required.
