Studiosity is available online 24/7 throughout the year, even during semester breaks.
Undergraduate and postgraduate students get free access to Studiosity, which is designed to support you with core study and writing skills, aiming to improve your confidence and academic success.
You can access Studiosity under the 'my systems' section on Compass, or via the Studiosity topic in Flinders Learning Online (FLO).
You can upload a draft assignment (max 1500 words per assignment) to Studiosity, and an English specialist will provide you with feedback in less than 24 hours, including comments, suggestions and encouragement about how you can improve your work.
Studiosity live chat offers online one-to-one, personal help with your study questions. Learning Advisors are available to help you with a range of core academic skills including English, maths, science (biology, chemistry and physics), and general study skills (e.g., independent and critical thinking, planning and time management). If you're preparing for drug calculations or LANTITE tests, speaking with a Learning Advisor can be a good way to improve your skills.
Each chat session is approximately 20 minutes. You can opt to communicate with the Learning Advisor using audio or text.
Please note: each student has a maximum of 10 Studiosity interactions per half calendar year. One assignment feedback submission or one live chat session is an interaction. You are advised to consider your academic workload and plan carefully to make best use of your interactions. You can keep track of your usage after logging into Studiosity.
