Incoming student exchange allows students currently enrolled at a university outside of Australia (which has an exchange agreement with Flinders) to study at Flinders for one or two semesters, earning credit towards their degree at home.
The study abroad (fee paying) program allows currently enrolled or eligible students from outside of Australia, to study full time at Flinders for one or two semesters and earn credit towards their degree at home. The study abroad program provides students with an opportunity to study at Flinders University when there is no exchange agreement.
Eligible Flinders students can apply for an outgoing exchange program to a range of partner institutions. To assist with the cost of travel and living expenses there are a number of study assistance packages, scholarships and OS-HELP funding available for eligible students. Refer to the study abroad – outbound page for further information.
Students arriving for an exchange or study abroad semester program will apply to Flinders International to have their semester topics/courses pre-approved for study. Following approval from Flinders International, Enrolment Services will arrange for the topics to be added to your study plan. Once added to your study plan, you can continue with enrolment and class registration. Refer to the study abroad – inbound page for further information.
If you want to change any of the pre-approved topics for your study abroad or exchange program, please submit an Ask Flinders support request. List the topics you no longer wish to study and identify the topics to be added to your plan. We will seek approval for the change on your behalf, and if approved, amend your study plan.
Contact Flinders Connect with all your enquiries. We are located on Level 0, Central Library, Bedford Park campus.
