The Bachelor of Arts conditional entry to Master of Teaching (Primary) requires three years of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time) and is offered by the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work. There are inherent requirements to consider in relation to this course.
Students who wish to exit the award after completion of 36 units or 72 units may be awarded a Diploma of Arts or an Associate Degree of Arts respectively, subject to specific requirements. Further details can be found via the links below:
Upon successful completion of the course with a minimum GPA of 5 students will be guaranteed entry into the Master of Teaching (Primary). Noting all students who progress to the Master of Teaching must obtain a Child-Related Employment Screening before undertaking their Professional Experience. Students who are not cleared will be unable to complete the requirements of the course. Students undertaking the Master of Teaching must meet the required benchmark in the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students (LANTITE) prior to commencing the professional experience topics.
On successful completion of the Bachelor of Arts conditional entry to Master of Teaching (Primary) students will be awarded the Bachelor of Arts. Students who meet the guaranteed Grade Point Average entry requirements for the Bachelor of Arts conditional entry to Master of Teaching (Primary) will then be admitted to the Master of Teaching (Primary).

Applicants must complete a non-academic capabilities assessment task that is based on the Australian Institute for Teaching and school Leadership Initial Teacher Education standards.
