Program Location: Noumea and surroundings, New Caledonia
Program Dates: Sunday 19 November to Saturday 2 December 2023.
Places Available: up to 10 New Colombo Mobility plan funded places are available, and a limited number of self-funding places may be available
Open to: All currently enrolled undergraduate students who have completed at least 18 units in their current program of study.

Credit: 4.5 units through LANG3500 Special in-country studies topic (NS2). Acknowledgement of the New Colombo Plan Award on your Academic transcript.
A two-week intensive study tour to New Caledonia coordinated by CISaustralia, will allow Flinders students to participate in 30 hours of French language classes with other Australian and international students at a local language institute (CREIPAC). Students will have an opportunity to improve their understanding of New Caledonia’s socio-cultural specificities while developing their language skills in formal and informal contexts. Students will also develop a project (in English or in French) investigating a socio-cultural theme of interest pertaining to New Caledonia.

Step 1: Interested students should submit an AskFlinders request to seek approval to enrol into LANG3500 Special In-country topic|
Step 2: If Step 1 is approved, students should email a 250-300 word expression of interest outlining their motivation to participate in the program to lwb@flinders.edu.au. Include a screenshot or attach your college topic approval from step 1.
OPTION 1:
A$3,599 – Hotel, same gender, shared room, 2 weeks (30 hours French language instruction)
OPTION 2:
A$4,599 – Hotel, single room, 2 weeks (30 hours French language instruction)
