Exam dates, times and locations

For end of semester exams, a provisional timetable will be available five to six weeks before the start of the examination period.

This will then be followed by the final timetable, which will be available approximately four weeks before the start of the examination period.

All students are notified when each timetable is released via their Flinders University student email account. The provisional timetable is not final and is subject to change. Examinations Services would advise against the confirmation of any plans based on the provisional timetable.

Deferred and Supplementary exam timetable

For deferred and supplementary examination periods, there will not be a provisional timetable. A final timetable is released up to 24 hours prior to the deferred and supplementary examination period commencing.

Personalised timetable

Log into your personalised exam timetable with your FAN and password with the button below.

If the timetable is in provisional status, only the date and time of your scheduled examination(s) will appear.

You will be able to view the date, time and conditions of each examination in your personalised timetable.

If you don't have an exam listed for a topic and believe you should, please email Examination Services with your Student ID and the topic code.

My exam timetable

When does my exam start?

All exams, including deferred and supplementary, are held over three sessions per day from Monday-Saturday.

Examinations start at the following times:

  • 8:45am
  • 1:15pm
  • 5:45pm

You should arrive at the examination venue for in person invigilated exams 30 minutes before the beginning of each examination.

If you arrive late, you are not permitted to make up that time at the end of the examination. If you arrive more than 30 minutes after the start of writing time you will not be allowed into the examination room.

Where is my exam?

The majority of in person examinations (including deferred and supplementary examinations) will be held in the Alan Mitchell Sports Centre

Some in person examinations will also be scheduled in computer labs and smaller venues within the University.

Please be aware, your venue may be different for each examination. It is important to make note of the venue within your personalised examination timetable including the examination conditions and familiarise yourself with the location, as well as the closest car parks and bus stops before the day of your examination(s). We would suggest you arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled exam time to allow for time to find your seat and placing any items not permitted in Bag Storage. Limited bag storage facilities are available at exam venues however, we strongly advise you to not bring any items other than those permitted. Any items not on this list will not be allowed in the venue and must be stored in Bag Storage.

Refer to the campus map for details.

Please check the general information for examination conditions and further details.
