The following guidelines apply to online quiz/tests (non-invigilated). Refer to the Topic handbook for further details.
1. Online quiz/tests (non-invigilated) access and support
a. Access to online quiz/tests (non-invigilated) are likely to be via Flinders Learning Online (FLO). FLO can be accessed from your Flinders OKTA dashboard.
b. If a student experiences any errors or is unable to complete the online quiz/tests (non-invigilated), an Online Assessment Incident Report should be submitted.
c. If a student requires immediate technical support during their online quiz/tests (non-invigilated) request should be raised to the FLO Student Help Desk via; 1300 3546 3377 (press 3 for FLO assistance), email or visit the Information Desk located at the Central Library.
2. Online quiz/tests (non-invigilated) date and time
a. All students are required to undertake and complete their online quiz/tests (non-invigilated) at the scheduled date and time regardless of any prior commitment (eg. with a planned holiday, special event or employment).
b. If a student is unable to undertake or complete the online quiz/tests (non-invigilated) they should complete the Deferred Assessment application no later than three (3) business days after the online quiz/tests.
c. Students who are from a non-English speaking background, have a disability, impairment or medical condition who require a reasonable adjustment in order to undertake the online quiz/tests (non-invigilated), as provided in S.3. of the Assessment Variation Procedures, must have prior approval so that appropriate adjustments can be implemented.
d. Students are required to commence their online quiz/tests (non-invigilated) no later than 45 minutes after the scheduled start time. No access to the online quiz/tests (non-invigilated) will be available after this time.
3. Student academic integrity
a. All students who are enrolled in a Flinders University coursework topic or course enrolled (including Honours courses and postgraduate coursework courses with a research component) must adhere to academic integrity, refer to Student Academic Integrity Policy.
b. All students undertaking a online quiz/tests (non-invigilated) will need to complete the online academic integrity declaration in FLO before they commence.
4. Online quiz/tests (non-invigilated) file naming
a. Digital submission of online quiz/tests files may require specific file naming, refer to the topic FLO site or Topic Handbook for further details.
