Flinders at Tonsley has a range of rooms available to staff to book events, meetings, workshops, conferences and more.

Tonsley room set-up guide

Book a managed space (Exhibition Foyer, Room 5.29 and 5.30).

Ground floor: There are two large theatres, accommodating between 80-160 guests.

All non-managed ground floor spaces are bookable via Web Room Bookings. 

  • Theatre 1 – G42 (capacity 160)
  • Theatre 2 – G32 (capacity 80)
  • Exhibition space (capacity 70) 

Level 1: Collaborate teaching space that can accommodate between 36-108 guests. Equipped with full AV facilities, these rooms are ideal for workshops, seminars and small lectures/presentations. Please note 1.03 and 1.04 cannot be joined and 1.08 and 1.09 are unable to be joined during the semester.

All Level 1 spaces are bookable via Web Room Bookings.

  • Collaborative teaching - 1.01-1.02-1.03 (capacity 36 per room or up to 108 combined)
  • Collaborative teaching - 1.04-1.05 (capacity 30 per room/60 combined)
  • Collaborative teaching - 1.08 (capacity 40)
  • Collaborative teaching - 1.09 (capacity 45)
  • Collaborative teaching - 1.14 (capacity 36)

Level 2: Predominately small meeting rooms for up to 12 guests, plus an open breakout/seminar space for up to 30 guests.

  • Meeting room – 2.32 (capacity 4)
  • Meeting room – 2.33 (capacity 6)
  • Meeting room – 2.34 (capacity 5)
  • Meeting room – 2.35 (capacity 12)
  • Meeting room – 2.36 (capacity 12)
All Level 2 spaces are bookable via the relevant MS Outlook calendar.
 
Level 3: Small meeting rooms for up to 6 guests and a larger meeting room with videoconferencing facilities.

All Level 3 spaces are bookable via the relevant MS Outlook Calendar.

  • Videoconferencing meeting room – 3.30 (capacity 6)
  • Meeting room – 3.31 (capacity 6)
  • Meeting room – 3.32 (capacity 6)

Level 4: 3 small meeting rooms for up to 10 guests

All Level 4 spaces are bookable via the relevant MS Outlook Calendar.

  • Meeting room – 4.28 (capacity 10)
  • Meeting room – 4.29 (capacity 6)
  • Meeting room – 4.30 (capacity 6)

Level 5: A combination of small meeting rooms for up to 15 guests (including videoconferencing facilities) and a large conference space for up to 41 guests with full AV facilities.
