Select the course you are commencing from the drop-down list. Once selected, the welcome session relevant to your course, and any other relevant sessions, will appear in green in the calendar below.  To be fully prepared for commencing your studies, it is highly recommended you attend your College and/ or Course Welcome session.

You can also use the secondary filter to enter a campus and see where your course-specific events and general events will take place throughout Orientation. 

Flinders Orientation Program runs across two weeks: O’Week (24-28 February) and Connect Week (3-7 March). There are a number of events happening over this period,.

We suggest that you use the Orientation Planner to find out what day your course welcome session is on, and then plan to attend as many other orientation events as possible on that day.  

Have a look at the other events taking place throughout the week.  You may wish to participate in multiple events during O’Week to prepare you for Week 1 and to soak up the atmosphere and have fun!

Some events require registration to attend. If relevant, click the ‘Register Here’ button and complete the Eventbrite registration form to reserve your spot at that particular event.  Please complete registration forms for all events you wish to attend.

If you are planning to study on campus, we suggest that you attend events in person. This will help you get familiar with the campus, facilities and the location of your lecture and tutorial rooms.  The address of each event is included in the event details as well as suggested car parking locations.  If you’re studying at Bedford Park campus (including Sturt precinct and Flinders Medical Centre), we suggest you refer to the Flinders University campus map to find the buildings you are looking for.

If you’re unable to attend campus, or planning to study exclusively online, you can join us online for available sessions by clicking the ‘Access Livestream’ button at the date and time of the event.
