Placements should be in a large diabetes centre which provide multi-disciplinary education for people with type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes to meet ADEA accreditation. For details about the specific requirements of the clinical placement please refer to the ADEA Student Placement Record Booklet available for download at: www.adea.com.au/resources/postgraduate-certificates
The Work Integrated Learning Placement Team can organise a placement in South Australia and can also assist organising interstate placement, depending on affiliated student placement agreements and cannot be guaranteed. Students may be required to travel for their placement and may be eligible for partial reimbursement.
