Imagine a curated 3-week immersion in the vibrant tapestry of Rajagiri, India—a convergence of rigorous academic exploration and the rich heritage of South Indian culture.

Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, is a highly respected institution who will be providing you with a grounding in network security, cybersecurity and block chain technology. You will learn about ethical hacking, malware analysis, and IoT security, along with real-world industry visits. You will have industrial visits to see firsthand how this technology is implemented within Indian business. The program ends with a research session and a final ceremony, offering both theory and practical skills in cybersecurity.
Alongside academic sessions, engage in cultural enrichment activities, including Indian history, language, yoga, and art forms. Explore the local culture further with visits to museums and tourist attractions, making this an unforgettable blend of education and experience.

The program is supported by the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan (NCP). For eligible students, the cost of this program can offset by:
If you are an international student, permanent resident or do not meet the eligibility for an NCP Grant, you may still participate and be offered an RA Simpson Scholarship AUD $500 (conditions apply). If you are a Post-Graduate, commonwealth-supported student, you are eligible to apply for OS-HELP up to AUD $9,504 (conditions apply).

The cost of this program is approximately AUD $1,700 which includes a non-refundable deposit of AUD $200 after committing to the program.

Flinders University reserves the right to alter the program cost at any time due to currency fluctuations and/or fee changes made by its partners.
All students participating in this program will be covered by the university’s travel insurance. Please note, this cover is limited. It is advised that you read the Flinders University Travel and Insurance schedule of benefits before you go, know what is covered and what is not covered.

Study Plan Query
Students who do not have (COMP7721) available in their study-plan should submit an online enquiry via Ask Flinders (click “Request Support”) and have your study plan checked by the College before applying. Please ask the following question in your enquiry:
Do I have a 4.5 unit topic (specific topic) available that will allow me to participate in the NCP program titled “Software Engineering in Ragagiri”?
Please note that the selection process for the NCP-funded places will be based on a written application, an unofficial student transcript, as well as an interview with candidates that will take place once applications have closed.
