Professor Chris Hay will lead "Fringe To Fringe: Performing The Indo-Pacific" a unique three-week field trip in Singapore for Flinders Drama students. This immersive program focuses on Indo-Pacific performance and theatrical culture. Students will participate in workshops with Singaporean practitioners and local students. Additionally, they will take attend the prestigious M1 Singapore Fringe Festival, known for showcasing innovative and socially-engaged contemporary works. Upon returning to Australia, the students will perform at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

If you are an international student, permanent resident or do not meet the eligibility for an NCP Grant, you may still participate and be offered an RA Simpson Scholarship AUD $500 (conditions apply). If you are a Post-Graduate, commonwealth-supported student, you are eligible to apply for OS-HELP up to AUD $9,504 (conditions apply).

Program Costs (Indicative)
The program cost is AUD $5,000 which includes a non-refundable deposit of AUD $200. The cost for Australian undergraduate citizens can be offset by an AUD $3,560 New Colombo Plan grant and OS-HELP up to $9,504 (conditions apply).

All students participating in this program will be covered by the university’s travel insurance. Please note, this cover is limited. It is advised that you read the Flinders University Travel and Insurance schedule of benefits before you go, know what is covered and what is not covered.
