A digital copy of your thesis should be prepared in accordance with the HDR Thesis Rules.
If you are ready to submit your thesis:
Ensure the final draft of your thesis has been put through TurnItIn, and your supervisor has read it.
If you have included any of your own publications in the body of your thesis that have co-authors, ensure you have completed the co-authorship permission form.
We recommend you give yourself at least one month to complete steps 1 and 2 above. Login to Inspire and go to the examination tab and then Thesis submission.
Upload a PDF copy of your thesis, your full Turnitin report and if applicable any additional files and your co-authorship permissions to Inspire .
The Inspire system will notify you of your successful online submission. Your submission will be reviewed by your Supervisor, the Office of Graduate Research and the Dean of Graduate Research. The office of Graduate Research may contact you is there are any issues with your submission and support you with this process.
Examiners are asked to review your thesis within 6 weeks but this can be delayed. You are welcome to contact the Office of Graduate Research to check on the progress of your thesis examination.
Please note: You may submit your thesis for examination even if this is against the advice of your supervisor, but only after an attempt has been made to resolve the matter through discussion with the supervisor and a HDR contact officer, or with the Dean of Research of your College (or nominee).
