Doing well in university isn't just about getting through your classes and assessments. It's also about staying happy, healthy, and connected with others while working towards completing your study.
In fact, Flinders students told us that, broadly speaking, students define success in five key ways:
- Academic learning - getting a degree with a wealth of knowledge;
- Wellbeing, belonging and community – being happy, healthy, and socially fulfilled;
- Support services – having access to services to foster success;
- Career and employment – graduating with hands on experience and with a job; and
- Facilities and technology – studying in an environment that services my needs.
Success Week is about helping you achieve success and celebrating your wins. It aims to empower you with the tools you need to succeed at uni and in your future career. You’ll be introduced to academic and career support services and loads of resources for you to tap into now, and throughout your time at Flinders.
During Success Week we will be asking all students “What does success mean to you at Flinders?”. Please look out for the student ambassadors across the different campus locations, or use this link to let us know here.
