FLO – short for Flinders Learning Online – is the online learning platform used by Flinders University.
FLO is the major teaching and communication tool for topics. It is where you will find your topic information, submit your assignments, watch lecture recordings, participate in online discussions, plus much more.
FLO can be accessed from any computer that is connected to the internet and has a web browser.
You can access FLO via your Okta Single Sign On dashboard or direct https://flo.flinders.edu.au.
FLO will be upgraded on 16 December as part of the regular upgrade cycle. The software underpinning FLO will not change, but the look and feel and navigation will undergo a facelift.
FLO will still function in the same way as it currently does, and some new features will be added. Whilst you will still be able to do everything you could before, you might find some functions in a slightly different location.
The key benefits for all staff and students after the upgrade are:

Staff teaching over summer are encouraged to attend the roadshows in November or December. Roadshows will also be offered in January and February for staff teaching in semester 1 and 2.
Some of the new features include improvements to forums, quizzes, assignments and gradebook:

The FLO Helpdesk is located on Level 1 of the Central Library, and is staffed during Central Library opening hours.
The FLO Student Helpdesk can answer non-course related questions. For example, we can help if you are having difficulty accessing FLO, with your FAN or password, or you are unsure how to use the tools within FLO, such as assignment submission, quiz and discussions.
Course related questions should be directed to your lecturer or course coordinator.
