Exam preparation at The Commons Want some help preparing for exams?The team at the Student Learning Support Service is running a series of exam preparation workshops, using evidence-based revision strategies that work. These 30-minute exam strategy workshops to prepare yourself for your exams. Sessions run daily during weeks 12 and 13 and are available face-to-face or online. More information. |

Campus Works Stair Work at Sturt From Friday 23 October to Friday 30 October, we’re undertaking works on two external stairs at Sturt – Sturt West then Sturt North. Where possible, very noisy works will be undertaken on the weekend to minimise disruption and inconvenience. However, there will be some intermittent noise associated with this project. Thanks for your patience while we undertake this essential work. Localised Building Power Outages We’re working to upgrade the electrical panels in several of our buildings, resulting in some localised early morning power outages for: Drama building - Thursday 22 October 2020 between 5:30am-8:30am Research Repository - Friday 23 October 2020 between 5:30am-9:30am Please make sure all electrical equipment is shut down prior (except fridges). |

Student Progress Policy open for consultation A new Student Progress Policy and procedures have been developed as part of Flinders’ Retention and Success Strategy. The draft new policy and procedures are intended to ensure that students are effectively supported to progress through their course towards completion, but also to provide a procedurally fair and transparent process for review when it becomes apparent a student is having trouble progressing. The drafts can be viewed via the Flinders Policy Library here. Comments can be provided to policyandsecretariat@flinders.edu.au. Feedback closes Wednesday, 28 October 2020. |
