Need a space to study before your 9am lecture? You can access the Central Library spaces, PCs, printers and physical books 24-hours per day, 7 days a week. The doors into the Medical and Sturt Library are open at 8am Monday to Friday (Sturt is also open on weekends from 12pm). Don’t forget that the online Library collection is available 24/7 and Librarian support at all libraries is available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. LinkedIn Learning is free for all Flinders students LinkedIn Learning (normally $40 per month for an individual) is free for all Flinders students. You don't need a LinkedIn profile to access LinkedIn Learning. You can access it directly via Okta. New teaching space for Sturt South S210 As part of the Learning Space Program, there will be upgrades to Sturt South Room S210. The space will feature new audio-visual equipment, a tiered learning space and can seat 70 people at capacity. Outside of the theatre a new informal student space for small group work and enclosed meeting rooms will also be upgraded. During construction please note Room S209 will be closed and to observe all signage where possible to avoid the area. Work is expected to be completed at the end of 2020. |

Flinders Link train timetable is open for consultation The proposed timetable for the new Flinders train has been released for consultation. Have your say about the proposed timetable and provide feedback on the service via Adelaide Metro. The proposed timetable will replace the Tonsley train timetable and will continue to appear with the Seaford timetable. Passengers travelling to and from Flinders on the Seaford line will transfer at Woodlands Park Station. Feedback is open until 5pm Friday 30 October, with opening of the train line expected for passengers in December 2020. View the timetable and have your say. Read more on the Adelaide Metro website. |
Be Well Tracker Good wellbeing and mental health of our students is paramount for student success, particularly in a time of change and uncertainty. We continue to work in partnership with SAHMRI Wellbeing and Resilience Centre to offer the SAHMRI Wellbeing and Resilience platform to our students. This freely accessible platform gives participants content aimed at improving mental health and wellbeing. The platform allows participants to take a personalised assessment that gives personalised tips and techniques to build and improve mental health and wellbeing. All EPSW students will receive an email from the Be Well Tracker (formerly Complete Mental Health). Set up your account, complete the assessment and browse articles. Free and completely confidential. |

Mental health and wellbeing check-in As part of Mental Health Week 10-17 October 2020, all students in the college of HASS are invited to participate online in the wellbeing and mental health survey tool, the Be Well Tracker. Designed by the SAHMRI Wellbeing and Resilience Centre, the Be Well Tracker is a resource for you to learn about your mental health and wellbeing; try ways to build or maintain high levels of wellbeing; and track your mental health and wellbeing over time. EXStraordinary Brain Breaks are evidence-based and strategically crafted 10 minute “No-Sweat” mobility sessions designed to offset postural compression, boost your mood and restore cognition while working from home. No need to bring your NESB card to exams If you have an electronic Non English Speaking Background (NESB) card (or if you updated your personal details in the Student System by the 12 October NESB card deadline), you will not be required to present your NESB card at exams. A list of NESB card holders will be provided to exam invigilators to ensure eligible students receive the additional time provisions. Please note: you still need to bring your Student ID Card to exams held on campus. |
