Critical things you need to do before completing the online registration form:
- Download a Verification Statement document (printed forms are available from Health, Counselling and Disability Service)
- Make an appointment to see your medical practitioner to complete the Verification Statement (NB: Students diagnosed with Specific Learning Disability need to provide the report from the psychologist who did the assessment, it is preferred that the report was completed at secondary school age or higher.)
- Ensure you have scanned copies of your medical documents and any other information including your SATAC/Year 12 accommodations or other university access plan (if relevant)
- Proceed with the online registration.

Information about the nature of your disability or medical condition will not appear on your academic record.
If you are enrolled in a course where there are mandatory notification requirements to AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency), Flinders University may be required to make a mandatory report if it is deemed that the public may be at risk of substantial harm. This is despite any confidentiality obligations that may otherwise apply. Please discuss any concerns with your course coordinator or disability advisor.
