The Student System is where you can:
Most of your information can be updated in the My Details area, but some personal information, like your name, date of birth and citizenship, can only be changed in person.
If you need to change your personal information that can’t be updated in My Details, bring the relevant legal documents to Flinders Connect and we’ll update the information for you.
Access to the Student System is automatically granted to students who have an active FAN.
You can access it via your Okta Single Sign On dashboard or directly at https://stuadmin.flinders.edu.au/student/.
Your online go-to place for completing your essential tasks here at Flinders will look different later this year. The changes will include an enhanced system layout and navigation, new functions and a more intuitive user experience for you. Stay tuned!

The Student System outage means that the system will be unavailable to all users from Thursday 16 October to Monday 20 October 2025. During this period, you won’t be able to enter the system, or perform any in-system tasks.
The outage will only affect the Student System, and will not impact other university systems like FLO, Cellopark, and Microsoft apps.
During the Student System outage the system will, be unavailable to all users – students and staff. It’s recommended that if you have a fee or census deadline between 16 or 20 October, that you plan to complete these tasks in the Student System by Wednesday 15 October 2025. If you need assistance during the outage, additional student support will be available through Flinders Connect and the City Campus.
We’re updating the system with changes designed to make it simpler, clearer, and easier for you to use. When the new system interface is live, you will be able to access support tools and resources to help you navigate the new look and functionality.

Check that you've activated your Flinders account. Your account is the combination of your Student ID number and your Flinders Authentication Name (FAN). Once activated, you can use your FAN and password to log in to the Student System.
