Join Crosscurrents artist Sonya Rankine – a celebrated Ngarrindjeri, Ngadjuri, Narungga and Wirangu weaver – for a hands-on weaving workshop.
Learn about Sonya’s materials and techniques and create your own woven work under her expert guidance. You’ll also discover more about her featured work in the Crosscurrents exhibition, which pays tribute to the tidal fish traps of the northern Narungga region.
Come along to learn about First Nations culture, connect with others and enjoy a relaxed and welcoming creative space. This workshop is free and open to all, but bookings are essential. No experience necessary and all materials are provided.
