Before you go on placement, any issues or concerns about applying for placement, pre-placement requirements (compliance), or the placement allocation process can be managed by your WIL placement team.
Any issues that arise about your topic, study, or assessment should be directed to your topic coordinator.
If you have a problem or concern that arises during placement, your first point of contact is your placement supervisor. Discuss the issue with them and see if you can resolve your concern.
If this does not resolve your issue or you would like to discuss it further, contact your WIL placement team via phone or email.
If the issue or concern has impacted your wellbeing, or you would like to speak with someone confidentially about the matter, Flinders offers a free and confidential counselling service for all students, including students studying entirely online. You can access up to 6 counselling sessions in a calendar year.
If you need to speak with a counsellor urgently, and it is between 8.45am and 5pm please call 8201 2118.
