Topic description
Students will be introduced to the methods of assessment and planning in supporting students with problem behaviours in a variety of educational settings.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:
Examine the issues of assessment in behaviour in contrast to assessment in the academic curriculum
Gain competence in completing a Functional Behaviour Assessment procedure
Develop a positive behaviour plan from the outcomes of a Functional Behaviour Assessment
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
Explain the methods of assessment and planning for students with behaviour problems
Complete a Functional Behaviour Assessment procedure
