Come and visit the Oasis Stall on Monday, 9th September, from 11 am to 2 pm and learn about the Flinders student created campaign ‘Good Vibes Experiment’ – and pick up some pins and other merch along with an activity book to take home and complete in your own time – it’s a fun way to learn about ways to enhance your wellbeing! We will have our student Wellbeing Ambassadors on hand to chat to you about the Oasis Student Wellbeing Centre and the Health Counselling & Disability Service. There will also be a mindful colouring in station and a chance to play Well-Bingo!

Build your Own Terrarium with Botanista | 11am-2pm
You will learn all the basics of terrarium making: what materials to use to make your terrarium thrive, and what plants are best for different types of terrariums.

Vision Board Workshop with Pam Zorn | 11:30am-12:30pm (register here)
This is an opportunity to get clear about what you want, set some intentions for the future, and create your very own vision board! Once you have all your images, arrange your vision board in a way that makes you feel happy and inspired. Before the session, have a think about your goals and career aspirations, and consider a theme! While glue sticks, markers and magazines will be provided, please bring along:

Open Art Studio Workshop with Jake Holmes | 11am-2pm
In this hands-on workshop with local artist Jake Holmes, you’ll have the chance to have a go at screen printing and produce a work of your own by adding collaged and drawn elements to your print. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or curious to try something new, all skill levels are welcome.
Jake Holmes is an Adelaide based artist whose work currently focuses on illustration and screen printing. He has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across Australia, including at Flinders University Museum of Art as part of The Guildhouse Collections Project in 2019.

Drop into the Wellness Hub on the day to put your name down for the massages and compression pants.
Cooking Demonstration with The Food Centre (11am-12pm)
Learn how to prepare nutritious, one pot meals on a budget and with limited space and storage. You can also learn more about the amazing work the Food Centre are doing in the community, and get involved by donating or signing up to be a volunteer. By participating in this workshop, you can go in the draw to win a free rice cooker or some of their delicious Easy Feast Meals.

FMovement for wellbeing! Feel free to join Wellbeing Ambassadors for an hour of walking. We will be heading out for a walk at 9:30am, down to the Flinders ovals for a couple of big loops, and then head back to Oasis.

Mindfulness is about paying attention, on purpose to the here and now, so that we can fully engage with whatever is happening around us. These weekly drop-in sessions include some mindfulness exercises for you to try and some practical strategies to help with study and get more out of life! Counsellor Chris will be running this session.

Come and join our two City Campus Counsellors, Haidee and Sam, for a guided mindfulness session as we explore practical mindfulness strategies to improve focus, concentration and mood. On the Bedford Park campus, we have access to scrub and pine forest land that makes for excellent walks and opportunities to connect with nature to enhance our wellbeing. Join Chaplain Dave for a forest walk to explore this beautiful wilderness on our doorstep. Remember to wear appropriate closed footwear and clothing and bring a water bottle. During Wellbeing Week, Forest Walk will start from the Student Hub and finish at Oasis.
