R U Ok? Day – Thursday 10 September Thursday 10 September is R U Ok? Day and the 2020 theme is ‘There’s more to say after R U Ok?’. This year has been a challenging year for everyone and circumstances have made it even more important for us all to stay connected and, for those who are able, be willing to support those around us. Oasis and the Flinders University Student Association (FUSA) will be hosting an R U Ok? Day event on the day. Head to the Student Hub and Plaza at Bedford Park (11am – 2pm) or the café area at Sturt (11.30 – 1.30pm) for a range of R U Ok Day merchandise giveaways, prizes, free food, coffee, live music and more. You’ll also be able to chat to our wellbeing ambassadors – look out for the students in the yellow t-shirts. A panel discussion will be held in the Plaza at Bedford Park at 12pm, where Flinders experts will talk about what R U Ok? Day means to them, how to ask people if they are ok and the range of support available to students. The discussion will be recorded and will be available to watch online later in the day. For more information about the event, visit the FUSA Facebook event page. See here for more information about R U Ok? Day. |
