Caffeine or Confidence? For the price of one takeaway coffee a month, you could get 4 hours of group learning to build your confidence. Visit the Flinders Uni Toastmasters Club. They have drastically cut the membership fees for concession card-holders (it’s now just $25 to join, plus $20 every 6 months – i.e. per 12 meetings). They are a friendly group of students (and others) who challenge each other to speak up, listen, and build presentation skills. Check them out on Facebook. |

EPSW Student Wellbeing initiative in partnership with SAHMRI EPSW has partnered with SAHMRI’s Wellbeing and Resilience Centre to give students access to an interactive wellbeing and resilience platform. You will shortly receive a link in your Flinders email to access “Complete Mental Health”, a free web-based program where you can access content and take an assessment that gives personalised tips and techniques to build and improve mental health and wellbeing. All collected personal information and survey responses will be de-identified and is completely confidential. |
