Sitting exams this semester? This is what you need to know Semester 2 exams start next week. If you have exams, see below for important information: Arrive at least 30 minutes before your exam We recommend you arrive at the exam venue at least 30 minutes before the start time of your examination. Bag storage lines can be lengthy, so this will give you enough time to store your bag if needed and avoid any last-minute rush. Also factor in the time it will take to get to the exam venue, including traffic delays, and parking - if you plan to drive in. Double check what you can and can’t bring Did you know there are items you can’t bring into the exam room? For example, you’re not allowed to bring in bags, mobile phones or wallets – among other things. Don’t get caught out. Make sure you know what you can and can’t bring in with you, to save unnecessary stress on the day. See flinders.edu.au/examchecklist for a full list. Deferred examinations If you're sick on exam day, or unable to make it due to unforeseen or exceptional circumstances, don’t panic. You can apply to sit a deferred exam. If you need to do this, you must put in an application as soon as possible, and no later than three days, after the date of your exam. You must also provide evidence of the reason you couldn't attend (e.g. documentary evidence from a qualified professional practitioner). For more information see the Exam Information webpage. |
