Attention Second Year Education Students
Would you like to help first year students and build your confidence before your next placement? If so, please consider being a First Year Mentor. This involves attending at least one first year tutorial each week through Semester 1 (2020) to give a 10-15 minute presentation addressing common questions of first-year students. The students will benefit from your understanding of their transition from school to university, and you’ll develop confidence in teaching prior to attending your next placement. Students who have previously been involved in the program have found the experience beneficial. If you’re interested, please email Dr. Katharine Swain. |
