Awaiting response Action required, please respond to your offer.
Completed Application complete.
Declined You've turned down your offer.
Deferred Your course start date has been postponed.
Incomplete Unfinished application, not yet submitted.
Offered Your application for this course was successful and you have received an offer from the university.
Submitted Application submitted.
System Accepted Your offer has been accepted automatically.
Under Assessment Application currently being reviewed.
Unsuccessful Application not successful.
Withdrawn You've withdrawn your application.

My Finances

Fully Allocated No balance owing, fee fully paid, covered by sponsorships etc.
Overdue – Census Date Both census and due dates have passed. If you pay after the census date, there may be a delay before your balance is updated.
Overdue – Due Date Due date passed, payment still owing.
Reversed The fee has been cancelled or offset, no amount is owing.
Unpaid Fee still owing, some or all of the fee is unpaid.

My Scholarship 

Active Approved for payment.
Breached Not compliant with scholarship conditions.
Completed Scholarship period/payments complete.
Lapsed Offer not accepted before deadline.
Pending bestowal Awaiting payment approval.

Advanced Standing Credit awarded for prior study or experience.

AWOL Absent Without Leave - you are no longer permitted to enrol in topics under this study plan.

What does the Student System outage mean? keyboard_arrow_up

The Student System outage means that the system will be unavailable to all users from Thursday 16 October to Monday 20 October 2025. During this period, you won’t be able to enter the system, or perform any in-system tasks. 

The outage will only affect the Student System, and will not impact other university systems like FLO, Cellopark, and Microsoft apps.

What if I need to access the Student System to meet a fee or topic census deadline? keyboard_arrow_up

During the Student System outage the system will, be unavailable to all users – students and staff. It’s recommended that if you have a fee or census deadline between 16 or 20 October, that you plan to complete these tasks in the Student System by Wednesday 15 October 2025.  If you need assistance during the outage, additional student support will be available through Flinders Connect and the City Campus.

We’re updating the system with changes designed to make it simpler, clearer, and easier for you to use. When the new system interface is live, you will be able to access support tools and resources to help you navigate the new look and functionality.

I'm a new student. How can I get access to the Student System? keyboard_arrow_up

Check that you've activated your Flinders account. Your account is the combination of your Student ID number and your Flinders Authentication Name (FAN). Once activated, you can use your FAN and password to log in to the Student System.
