Topic description

In this topic students will work in small teams with industry mentors in their particular digital media field. In their teams students will work on enhancing their existing technical, conceptual and creative skills and abilities, as part of the planning and pre-production stage of producing a short digital film product.

Educational aims

This topic aims to:

  • Provide students with the opportunity to work with industry-level mentors in their area of specialisation
  • Further develop specialised skills in a chosen area of digital media production
  • Provide students with detailed knowledge of and the opportunity to use industry-specific software and hardware
  • Expand students' teamwork and collaborative skills
  • Expose students to world class industry practices and techniques
Expected learning outcomes
