The focus in this topic will be the assessment and treatment of patients with spinal and complex musculoskeletal disorders. The selection, application and evaluation of physiotherapy examination and intervention techniques will be developed and refined through case based learning and practical skills tutorial sessions, and in consultation with the evidence based literature. Client-centered practice, including legal, ethical and psychosocial aspects of patients' rights and choices and involvement in physiotherapy management will be discussed.
This topic aims to establish specific knowledge and skills related to physiotherapy for spinal musculoskeletal conditions.
