Topic description
Search strategies to optimise identification of information and technology; refining the ability to critique these and apply to therapeutic situations. Development of skills in conducting detailed literature reviews, designing research projects for specific questions. Development of practical skills related to information and technology in occupational therapy including: developing surveys, conducting needs analysis, application of apps in therapy, use of assistive technology, application of telehealth.
Educational aims
The aim of this topic is to extend students' ability to identify, analyse and apply information and technology relevant to occupational therapy practice.
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students should be able to:
