Occupational Performance across the lifespan, Group Work and Presentation Skills, Pain, Posture and Movement, Preparation for Practice Placements
Educational aims
The aim of this topic is to provide occupational therapy students with extended knowledge and skills in the discrete areas of lifespan development, group work and postural control and to prepare them for the entry into the Master of Occupational Therapy.
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will be able to:

  2. Describe the physiology and biopsychosocial elements of pain both acute and chronic

  3. Describe the neurological control of movement and motor learning
