Educational aims
Students will be provided with the opportunity to:

  • examine a sport or recreational activity from a variety of exercise science perspectives (i.e. exercise physiology, biomechanics, skill analysis)

  • explore motion analysis software and its application in physical education settings

  • provide students with an opportunity to review current literature in an area of interest related to physical activity epidemiology
Expected learning outcomes
It is expected that on completion of this topic student will be able to:

  • develop a digital portfolio of a sport or recreational activity suitable for use as secondary physical education teacher resource
