In this topic, students undertake a placement with an approved industry group or community group/agency relevant to their field of study, including approved internships, field education, or vocational and professional practice projects with industry and community organisations.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:
- Assist students in identifying a career path and beginning the transition from study to employment
- Expose students to current trends in their area of expertise
- Deepen participants' knowledge of workplace skills and expertise specific to their area of study
- Provide students with work experience and industry contacts that may assist their entry to the workforce
