Topic only available to students in the postgraduate health administration courses.
This topic addresses the situation and needs of rural health and aged care providers using action learning theory and the practice of project management. Working with an academic supervisor and an industry mentor, students will identify a project that addresses a current problem or opportunity for the organisation, prepare a project proposal for approval, conduct the project, prepare a report and present the findings to an academic or industry forum.
This topic aims to consolidate students' skills and knowledge in project management and in the challenges confronting rural health and aged care services.
