Topic description

This topic consolidates previous Production topics, and continues to provide Drama Centre students with further experience in theatre, television and film production. All students are required to take part in at least two major productions.

Educational aims

This topic aims to:

  • Consolidate students' understanding of professional rehearsal techniques and practices as used in the theatre, television and film industries
  • Provided extended opportunities to apply the performance techniques learnt in the previous Drama Centre acting and directing course to a production context
  • Provide students further opportunities to experience working in front of a live audience in a variety of different performance venues
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

  1. Continue to develop, and consolidate, your understanding of professional rehearsal techniques and practices
  2. Participate in extended opportunities to work within an ensemble context
