COMS2002 Technical Writing

This topic develops knowledge and specific skills related to writing styles, techniques, formatting and presentation for technical writing. A range of writing styles and techniques will be explored, from simple process instructions, to detailed and sophisticated technical reports.

This topic aims to:

• Introduce students to a range of professional writing genres, styles, and techniques
• Develop students' knowledge industry contexts in which professional writing is used
