This topic will cover the theoretical background and practical skills related primarily to aquatic animal health management and product quality. Students will be expected to understand the general pathology, life history, diagnosis, management and treatment of pathogenic organisms in both hatchery and production systems. Students will be expected to develop a solid understanding of product quality, and how this can be manipulated both prior to and post-harvest.
