The combined degrees program of Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of International Relations and Political Science requires the completion of a minimum of 144 units of study.

Students enrolled in a combined degree program must complete the full program specified within the combined program for each degree before they can graduate with either award.

Students who commence, but subsequently do not wish to complete, the combined degrees program may be eligible to transfer to either the Bachelor of Business or the Bachelor of International Relations and Political Science and to receive credit for some or all of the topics already completed.

Admission requirements

The minimum requirements for consideration for entry to all undergraduate courses are specified in detail in the University Entry Requirements.

Program of study

To qualify for the combined degrees of Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of International Relations and Political Science a student must complete the following program of study with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic:

  • a Business component of at least 72 units for the Bachelor of Business as detailed below;
  • an International Relations and Political Science component of at least 72 units for the Bachelor of International Relations and Political Science as detailed below;

Bachelor of Business component 

To qualify for the Bachelor of Business a student must complete 72 units* with a grade of P or better or NGP in each topic. This must include:

  • 45 units of core topics; and
  • a 27-unit specialisation in Marketing, Management, International Business, Innovation and Enterprise or a 45-unit specialisation for Human Resource Management, or if no specialisation is selected, 27 units of BUSN electives.

*Except for the Human Resource Management specialisation, which requires a total of 90 units.
