What you told us about success at Flinders Late last year, we asked students the question ‘What does success at Flinders mean to you?’ We received more than 900 responses, which will be used to help inform and prioritise projects across the University, to further improve student experience. Sometimes the pressures of study, finances and other areas of life can become hard to manage, but you’re not alone. Come along to one of the Drop In Not Out (DINO) events next week to grab some free food and speak with Flinders staff about the financial, administrative, academic and welfare support services the University provides for free to students. Even if you’re not struggling with your studies it can be useful to learn more about the range of support available, in case you do ever need it. Read more. |

Thread Together is delivering free clothes to students in needThe Thread Together Van is coming back to the Bedford Park campus next Wednesday 27 March. Students doing it tough will be able to pick up new, good quality clothing and shoes for FREE by visiting the van. If you’re interested, you’ll need to pick up an appointment card. Read more. |

French Film Festival – $5 student ticketsWant to see a film at the Alliance Française French Film Festival for an affordable price? By showing your student ID card at the Palace Cinema box office, full-time students can buy tickets to Revenge, Knife+Heart, The Night Eats The World, The Wild Boys, Genesis, Sophia Antipolis, or Pearl for just $5. The festival is in Adelaide from 21 March – 18 April.

How can marketing and advertising improve mental health and wellbeing?Students are invited to attend the third annual AdMental, hosted by the Don Dunstan Foundation on Wednesday 17 April 6.30pm – 8.30pm at Bonython Hall (North Terrace, Adelaide). Inspired by The Gruen Transfer the event will explore how marketing and advertising can improve mental health and wellbeing. Two emerging creatives supported by advertising agencies will deliver their pitch, followed by a panel discussion featuring mental health and marketing experts. Read more. |
