Exams – what you need to know Semester 2 exams will be held from 9 November to 23 November. If you have exams, see below for important information. Allocated seating If you are sitting an exam in the Sturt Gymnasium or the Alan Mitchell Sports Centre, you will be allocated a seat number, which will change for each exam. You will be sent an email at least one week before your exam with your allocated seat number(s). Please take note of your seat number(s) to save stress on exam day. Double check the exam venue If you have exams scheduled this Semester, make sure you double check the venue of your exam. Some topic exams are split over two locations, meaning someone in the same class as you may be sitting the exam at a different location. Therefore, it’s important to double check, to save stress on exam day. Check the venue by viewing your personalised exam timetable. |

Attention Second Year Education Students Would you like to help first year students and build your confidence before your next placement? If so, please consider being a First Year Mentor. This involves attending at least one first year tutorial each week through Semester 1 (2020) to give a 10-15 minute presentation addressing common questions of first-year students. The students will benefit from your understanding of their transition from school to university, and you’ll develop confidence in teaching prior to attending your next placement. Students who have previously been involved in the program have found the experience beneficial. If you’re interested, please email Dr. Katharine Swain. |
