Sitting exams this semester? This is what you need to know Semester 1 exams will be held from 22 June to 6 July. If you have exams, see below for important information. Bring your student ID to exams On exam day, we need to know its you! Make sure you bring a valid student ID to your exams. Lost your ID? Visit Flinders Connect to organise a new one. |
Arrive at least 30 minutes before your exam We recommend you arrive at the exam venue at least 30 minutes before the start time of your examination. Bag storage lines can be lengthy, so this will give you enough time to store your bag if needed and avoid any last-minute rush. Layer up for exams We recommend wearing some layers to exams, in case you get cold. The Sturt Gymnasium and Alan Mitchell Sports Centre exam venues are large and, while there are heaters, some students may still feel the cold (especially during early morning or evening exams). |
Deferred examinations If you're sick on exam day, or unable to make it due to unforeseen or exceptional circumstances, dont panic. You can apply to sit a deferred exam. If you need to do this, you must put in an application as soon as possible, and no later than three days, after the date of your exam. You must also provide evidence of the reason you couldn't attend (e.g. documentary evidence from a qualified professional practitioner). For more information see the Exam Information webpage. |

Its important you make the time for regular breaks. Here are a few reasons why. |
Exam preparation: embrace the socialStudying by yourself all the time can sometimes be lonely (and boring). Some people benefit from the energy of occasionally studying with friends. This can not only make it more enjoyable, but also offers up learning hacks that are difficult to do on your own. Here are some tips for finding a study group/partner. |
