Our dedicated New Students site provides information and resources to help you activate your account, enrol in topics and register in classes, prepare your timetable, view and pay fees, access your learning resources and more.
Your personalised timetable includes all your topics, lectures, workshops, tutorials, practicals, and other teaching-related activities.

A dedicated online topic coordinator will teach and support you throughout the course of your studies. Your online tutors are also available Online, via phone and email.
Your topics have virtual classrooms and discussion forums you can access through FLO, where you can participate in discussions with other students, and ask for help from your coordinator or tutor online.
Study support is available online 24/7 through Studiosity – even during the Semester breaks! Talk to a learning advisor in real-time using audio or text for help with English, maths, science, and general study skills using Connect Live or upload a draft assignment for Writing Feedback.

As well as using FindIt@Flinders, you can search through the library’s list of online journal databases.
If you need access to a book or journal article that isn't in our collection, you can request a copy through document delivery and get it delivered to you either through the post or email.
The library is home to thousands of eBooks that you can access from anywhere and at anytime. FindIt@Flinders is a search engine that provides results from the library's online resources (ebooks and journal articles) and print collections in a single search. You’ll find books, eBooks, articles, journals, videos and more. Log in to save your searches and records.
Readings are the essential reading materials selected by the teaching staff for your topic, including books, book chapters, journal articles and videos, are mostly available in a one-stop-shop we call Readings or Readings list. Your Readings will appear in your FLO topic page.
If you require physical items from the library collection, you can request them to be posted to you via our SendIt - Off Campus Library Service.
General IT queries should be directed to our student computing website. If you need immediate assistance, you can access FAN, Email and technical support between 9am and 5pm (Adelaide time) by calling 1300 354 633 (select option 5). The Software and home use licences websitehas information on the software available for you to use, how to get access and training materials as well as a range of online computer tutorials.

Access the free and confidential counselling service Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, available to all students. Our qualified, experienced counsellors can assist with any personal or academic issues. The University provides a free and confidential counselling service to assist students with mental health and wellbeing, along with personal, disability and study related matters. Online students can speak to counsellors over telehealth appointments or via email.
You can access this service for academic and personal issues including time management/procrastination, academic planning, exam anxiety, support for extensions and supplementary examination applications as well as low self-confidence, depression, anxiety, stress management, problem solving/decision making.
Outside these hours, crisis support is available by calling 1300 512 409 or texting 0488 884 103 (this includes weekends and public holidays).
A free, confidential service for students who have a disability. Support includes help with access plans, equipment/ software access and alternative exam arrangements.
Disability includes medical and/or mental health conditions, learning difficulties or any disability that impacts on study.
