Please note, the University does not issue letters confirming dates of official breaks and your or your dependant's work rights.
Registered employers and labour supply companies are able to check the work entitlements of a prospective employee by accessing the Department of Home Affairs' Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) facility.
Please refer your employer to the University website for viewing university advertised breaks and back to VEVO regarding your work rights.
Once the temporary relaxation of work hours ends, a "Working while studying – student declaration form" will be made available again for download that provides information about the Department of Home Affairs' student visa work conditions and Flinders University's semester dates.
International students may complete the form, sign and submit it to their employer when applying for employment. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that they are always compliant with their visa conditions
